Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.Role Description As a Senior Business Development Manager in our Invoice Finance team, you'll take on a more complex and higher-value origination remit, working the largest and most strategically important opportunities across our acquisition channels.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, take the lead on more sophisticated deal structures, and act as a role model and informal mentor to more junior members of the BDM team, while continuing to personally originate and close new business.Principal AccountabilitiesTake ownership of a portfolio of higher-value, strategically important Invoice Finance opportunities and introducer relationshipsGet up to speed on Kriya's most complex deal structures and credit considerationsBuild relationships with junior BDMs and begin sharing best practice on prospecting and qualificationOwn origination and closing of higher-value, complex Invoice Finance opportunities, driving income against monthly, quarterly, and annual targetsHelp build and manage a portfolio of strategically important introducer relationships, including key broker and accountancy firm partnershipsTake the lead on structuring more complex lending proposals, working closely with credit to get deals over the lineAct as a mentor to junior BDMs, sharing best practice on prospecting, qualification, and deal structuringPlay a key role in developing and executing the commercial business plan for Invoice Finance, in line with strategic goalsIdentify and pursue multi-product cross-sell opportunities across the wider Kriya and Allica Bank offerin
