Baines Simmons provides one of the four capabilities of TrustFlight services and for over 25 years has been building the safety competence of civil and defence aerospace organisations around the world, serving over 750 organisations, over 40 regulatory authorities and trained over 200,000 professionals.The Head of Business Development (Training) is responsible for driving sustainable, quality revenue growth across Baines Simmons’ training portfolio by leading the sales execution, pipeline management and client engagement activities.
The role ensures that training offerings are effectively positioned in the market, aligned with customer needs, and contribute directly to TrustFlight’s strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of the training business development strategy to achieve revenue growth targetsDrive new business acquisition and expand existing client accounts across global aviation marketsManage and develop the Academy and In-Company sales team, including performance, coaching, and capability buildingOwn the full sales lifecycle, ensuring robust pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and conversion performanceCollaborate with Product and Operations teams to align training offerings with market demand and client needsDevelop and implement pricing, packaging, and commercial propositions to maximise market competitivenessBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholdersDrive continuous improvement of processes and systems to increase velocity and quality Required
