    About this role

For over two decades, BrainPOP has been trusted by educators and parents worldwide as a source of engaging and impactful learning experiences for all kids.

With a presence in over two-thirds of U.S. districts through school and district subscriptions and an estimated annual reach of 25 million students, BrainPOP is empowering kids to take agency over their learning and excel in and out of the classroom.

The company was acquired in 2022 by KIRKBI, the family-owned holding and investment company of the LEGO brand, marking a significant milestone as their first acquisition in the digital learning realm. We are thrilled to continue making learning fun and accessible with the strategic guidance and support of KIRKBI.

    About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will report to the Regional Head of Growth and Success and is a field-based sales position that will drive net-new revenue growth across K-12 school districts.

In this role, you will navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles and  build deep, consultative relationships with Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, and IT Directors to align our platform with their district’s strategic goals, equity initiatives, and student achievement metrics.

This requires expertise in the educational landscape of your territory, including state specific curriculum needs and initiatives, district nuances, and funding trends. The RSM will create, develop, and execute a strategic regional territory plan to drive territory growth.

The RSM’s territory will be in the North region, which may include states in the Midwest, Mid Atlantic and Northeast.  The ideal candidate is based in the Eastern time zone. Regional travel in the assigned territory is required (50-70%).

    Role Insights

Sales leadership roles require balancing individual contributor revenue with team performance management.

Top SaaS reps often earn significant upside through accelerators once quota is exceeded.

Remote positions in sales offer flexibility but require strong self-discipline and proactive communication with distributed teams.
