About this role
SLSQ427R458
We are looking for a Genie Sales Director (IC) to accelerate adoption of Databricks Genie across large enterprise customers. This role will connect line-of-business priorities with data, BI, and AI capabilities—helping customers move from high-value business questions to trusted, production-grade Genie experiences while enabling the field to scale the motion.
The impact you will have
- Deliver assigned Genie consumption, bookings, and activation goals by prioritizing high-potential enterprise accounts and converting unactivated demand into production usage.
- Increase the number of enterprise Genie opportunities that achieve executive-backed business validation and progress from an initial use case to repeatable production deployments.
- Build and scale field plays around Genie, semantic models, trusted data, and line-of-business analytics that create measurable pipeline and usage growth.
- Improve field execution by equipping account teams and specialists with repeatable guidance on use-case discovery, qualification, value articulation, demonstrations, and opportunity progression.
- Establish a scalable engagement model across sales, solutions architecture, business-unit enablement, and partners that increases specialist-influenced pipeline and accelerates customer decisions.
- Turn customer, field, and competitive feedback into clear product and go-to-market recommendations that strengthen Databricks’ position in business-facing analytics and AI.
- Build internal and external executive credibility for Genie, increasing strategic sponsorship and expanding adoption across priority accounts.
