It’s the ideal role to launch your sales career in finance.
Your key responsibilities as a Business Development Representative will include:
Prospecting into target accounts through outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn, and responding to inbound enquiries. Generating leads and booking qualified meetings for our sales team, turning interest into qualified opportunities. Delivering compelling, tailored pitches that show how our products and services solve each client’s challenges.
Handling client questions and objections with confidence to move conversations forward. Meeting and exceeding your activity and meeting targets, working closely with your manager and senior BDRs. Keeping accurate, up-to-date client and prospect records in our CRM.
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Business Development Representative:
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and persuade people over the phone. You will have the resilience to handle rejection and a natural drive to overachieve, staying motivated through setbacks. You will be highly organised, disciplined and detail-oriented, and comfortable working with computers and CRM software.
You should have some sales, telesales or commercial experience, such as recruitment, which is a real advantage, though motivated graduates are also encouraged to apply. You will have a competitive spirit, plenty of initiative and a genuine interest in financial and investment markets.
